Let’s start making Chocolate Tiramisu Mousse:
First Day
Step 1:
The first step of this easy tiramisu recipe is to weigh out all the ingredients for the mousse because you will need to quickly mix them together one by one.
Step 2:
Whip the cream until soft peaks form. But be careful not to over-whip it as it should still remain slightly loose to fill your mould evenly.
Step 3:
Mix Tiramisu Charlotte Powder and water together. Stir until the powder is completely mixed and the lumps disappear. Then mix the mixture into the whipped cream, which will take on the taste and slight colour of the Tiramisu mixture.
Step 4:
Fill the moulds halfway with the mousse mixture and gently scrape it outwards to create a thin layer on the sides of the mould. Make an indentation in the center suitable for Lady Finger-trimmed biscuits.
Step 5:
Set the filled moulds to one side.
Step 6:
Take the Lady Finger biscuits and quickly dip them into the cold coffee. Gently place them in the indentation on top of the mousse in the silicone mould.
Step 7:
Once you place all the Lady Fingers in the moulds, cover them completely with the remaining mousse.
Step 8:
Freeze overnight.
Next Day
Step 9:
Remove the mousse from the silicone mould onto a wire rack with a tray underneath to collect the liquid.
Step 10:
Pour the Chocolate Mirror Glaze generously over the mousse bars.
Step 11:
Using a spatula, carefully lift the glazed bars and place them on the rectangular cake board.
Step 12:
In the end, for decoration, sprinkle white chocolate drops or buttons over the glaze and then over that sprinkle with instant coffee powder.
High five for this easy tiramisu recipe!
